Katniss's journey and struggle over the course of these three novels serves as an excellent example encapsulating Trites argument about the struggle between power and powerlessness. Katniss is a character who has been close to my heart since I first read these novels and met her and she is a character who I still continue to adore and relate to. The older I have gotten, the more I have come to admire and relate to her character and I know she will forever hold a special place in my heart.
